I greet everyone I come into contact with, every day, with a smile and a "Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening" (depending on the time of day). No matter how low I may wake up feeling, receiving all of those reciprocal smiles and wishes makes me feel better--like I've made a difference in their day. A smile can go a long way!

I love to bake and have for many years, most of my baking I give away to friends, neighbours, co-workers of my 25 year old son Chris and my husband Don as well as fellow students of my 23 year old son Jon who is post grad at University. From doing this I have made so many new friends who have told me how much I have brightened their day by sharing my baking. When my son was taking his first degree he went to Mount Allison University in New Brunswick. I used to send baking down every 2 weeks by UPS and when he graduated this past spring Don and I flew down and I took baking in a suitcase. Well when we arrived in the small town of Sackville everyone seemed to know who I wasthe first day, students and even the teaching staff and University president. I was a bit confused by this but soon learnt that Jon had shared my baking with everyone the past 4 years. I made so many new friends who write to me from down east, it really is amazing! The best part is I love to bake and love to share as it really makes me feel good to brighten someones day with my gift, my mom alwats said it was better to give than to receive and she was right!

I bring sunshine into my husband's life by telling him everyday how much I love him and that he's still my number One after 39 years. I remind him to take care of himself and help soothe his aches and pains when he overdoes it because I want us to grow old and stay healthy together.

I am a stay at home Mom so I am always there for my kids. We do tons of fun things together; movies,Science World, baking and walks to the park to name a few. I also make my Mother special meals so that she doesn't have to cook so much for herself. My husband and I love to watch our favorite shows with a nice bottle of wine after the kids are asleep. I try to keep a positive attitude and crack a few silly jokes now and then to keep us all laughing. I'm a good caregiver and love taking care of my loved ones.

I make muffins. I know that seems like a small thing but really, there is nothing more comforting than a muffin right out of the oven. They make great snacks, can be sweet or savoury, and are always delicious. Plus, when I make my family's food I know what's in it, no strange unpronounceable chemicals or mystery ingredients.

    that's easy!
I always try to think of ways to make my loved ones special by doing special things for them... for example my bbf just had a bebe and i went over for the weekend and made her dinner and i brought her a gift of products that would pamper her. I alway make little gifts for my friends ... like watercolours, paintings, i sew and make crafts for them too.
    thanks!

I'd like to think that I bring sunshine into my boyfriend's life. As a fairly new couple, my boyfriend was hurt in a crash by a drunk driver. Unable to function normally or even go to work due to severe back problems. He was physically, emotionally and mentally challenged through his recovery time and I stood by his side through often painful physical therapy, the emotional times when he could not bend over to pick up his daughter or when he just felt that things were never going to get better.

7 months later he's returned to work on moderate duty, but more importantly, we survived this together. I taught him that there is a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how dark some of your days may be and when you've got someone there helping you through the dark times, in the end, the combined shine of those two people are great. I think I'm able to bring sunshine to his because he lights my life!

I always start the day with a smile on my face, and a "I love you ". No matter how dreary the day, or how much stress life has brought to each one, it always brings a smile to their faces, and I know it laso brings just a little bit of sunshine.

my grandmother doesn't cook for herself or my grandfather anymore - so I cook their ethnic traditional foods and freeze them so that their nurse can just heat them up for them.

When it's cold outside I like to warm up a magic bag and put it under the covers of my son bed. Toasty toes helps him fall asleep faster.
